Daddy’s Dogs Opening Location Inside The Factory at Franklin This Fall

The popular locally-owned hot dog restaurant, Daddy’s Dogs, will be joining the lineup of the newly renovated The Factory at Franklin later this fall at 230 Franklin Road, the business recently announced on its Instagram page.

The new location is slated to open within a few months, although an official grand opening date has not yet been announced, it’s likely to open doors by September or October.

Founded by owner Sean Porter, a.k.a Big Daddy, Daddy’s Dogs is a gourmet hot dog business in Nashville and the winner of the BestOf-Nashville best hotdog as voted on by readers of the Nashville Scene.

In addition to their flagship store in the Nations neighborhood, they feature satellite walk-up windows in Geodis Park, 6th and Peabody, Gatlinburg, Printers Alley, and are frequently seen at farmers’ markets across the city. They are well-ingrained in the local music industry, from a residency at Marathon Music Works and Ascend Amphitheater to a feature at music festivals such as CMA Fest, Bonnaroo, Pilgrimage, Live on the Green, and every show in between. They are also a go-to provider of late-night food for artists touring through Nashville, as noted in a press release.

The under $10 menu at Daddy’s Dogs may be small, but it packs punches of flavor among its different dog options, including a cream cheese, grilled onion, and sriracha-topped dog called The Seattle. The menu also features a selection of side dishes like tater tots, chili, cole slaw, and mac and cheese. There’s even a vegan sausage option for anyone wanting to replace the hot dog with a plant-based alternative.

Customers can stay up to date with Daddy’s Dogs Franklin on its Instagram.
