OUR STORY

Sean "Big Daddy" Porter of Big Daddy's Hotdogs in Nashville

Meet Sean Porter, also known as "Big Daddy," the mastermind behind Daddy's Dogs, the go-to gourmet hot dog chain revolutionizing the hotdog game in Tennessee. Before earning his reputation serving the "Best Meat On The Street," Daddy was a fearless road warrior, touring with bands such as Cage the Elephant, Mat Kearney, Elle King, and Kris Allen, among many others. It was during these years that he gained his nickname and became known for his fun-loving nature.

When Sean isn't slinging footlongs or traveling the world, he can be found on his hog, planning his next cross-country scooter ride. As a member of the Soldiers of Destiny, a Seattle-based scooter club, he's always up for an adventure as seen in their uproarious feature film, Slow Ride Home.

When Big Daddy’s behind the grill, hotdogs are no longer wimpy ballpark franks; he pitches the biggest beef you've ever tasted! He’s continually pushing the limits of what a hotdog should be. Cream cheese on a hotdog? Absolutely. Peaches? You bet your ass. These one-of-a-kind dogs are sure to give your taste buds the explosion they've been waiting for and permanently raise the bar for what a hotdog can be.

Daddy's Dogs menu offers a wide range of flavors, from the piled-high signature, (and namesake) “The Big Daddy” to hotdog staples like New York and Chicago styles, as well as delicious sides like Chips, Daddy's House Made Slaw, and Meaty Chili to complete your meal. The team handcrafts each menu item providing an unforgettable experience that puts Daddy’s Dogs in a league of their own.

No matter where you are, Sean's full-flavored fun is sure to be just around the corner. Whether you’re walking the streets of Downtown Nashville, passing through historic Printer’s Alley or stepping out of a show at the Mother Church herself, the Ryman Auditorium, Daddy’s there. Whether you’re enjoying a good ole American Football game at the Tennessee Titans Stadium or watching the European version at GEODIS Park (home of the Nashville Soccer Club), Daddy’s there. Enjoying a show at Marathon Music Works or Ascend Amphitheater? Daddy’s there, too. With over 10 Locations in the state (including the brand new Ober Mountain Daddy’s Dogs in Gatlinburg), Daddy’s pretty much everywhere.

Stop by any Daddy’s Dogs and discover why his Dogs are among the "Best Things to Eat in Nashville." Sit back, enjoy, and be prepared for an eye popping "Must-See" that will have you saying, "Golly! That’s a Tasty Dog!" for weeks to come.
